Nutriera Group signed the International Strategic Cooperation Agreement of China-India-Thailand

In the closing ceremony of the International Aquaculture Symposium named Profit on Aquaculture in Andhra Pradesh on 13th February 2017, Guangdong Nutriera Group, Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Hydrobiology, Thailand Asian Institute of Technology, India AG Group and Andhra Pradesh Ocean & Fishery University of India together signed the international strategic cooperation agreement of fishery research and practical application, which started the new chapter of international cooperation in aquaculture between China, India and Thailand.

Signing the Strategy Cooperation Agreement

The starter of this cooperation is India AG Group. It is the largest comprehensive agriculture group in India which mainly dealing with aquatic industry chain. Its brand is very famous in the world’s aquaculture market, which has great impact on India domestic market.

India AG Group established the Andhra Pradesh Ocean & Fishery University with Andhra Pradesh Government. The university invited Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Hydrobiology, Guangdong Nutriera Group, Thailand Asian Institute of Technology and India AG Group as the first batch international strategic cooperation units for the sake of improving their academic level and scientific research ability as well as strengthening the training of international talents. According to the cooperation agreement, all the parties will share the scientific research platform, promote the international application of scientific research achievement, offer training for aquaculture industry international personnel and promote the development of aquaculture industry. Nutriera Group, several Doctors and Professors of Chinese Academy of Science Institute are invited by Andhra Pradesh Ocean & Fishery University as the guests. All the cooperative parties will also regularly organize expert group to exchange the latest technology and scientific research progress so as to put the research results of aquatic feeds & nutrition aspects into practice and promote in commercial to achieve the maximum use of scientific research.

The Minister of Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Mr. Prathipati Pull Rao attended the signing ceremony. He said: “Thanks so much for the Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Hydrobiology and Nutriera Group. India started to develop aquaculture breeding a little late. Even though it has been developing fast in recent 5 years, there exist many problems. It’s difficult for the accumulated technology to support the stable and healthy development of aquaculture. As the largest aquatic country in the world, China has many years’ scientific research built-up and practical experience, which is significant for the development of India aquaculture. The cooperation will definitely help the local enterprises of India to improve technical strength rapidly.” More than 20 experts and scholars from China, India, the United States, Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar have witnessed this historical moment.
