Dr. Yang Yong of Nutriera was invited to attend VIETFISH 2017 and give a special presentation

On 29th to 31st of August, the VIETFISH 2017 was grandly held in SECC of Ho Chi Minh Vietnam. The president of Guangdong Nutriera Group Dr. Yang Yong together with his another two experts attended this conference and gave a special presentation.

The exhibition was organized by Vietnam MARD and co-organized by VASEP, which have attracted over 20 countries and more than 250 enterprises of all over the world to attend. The content of VIETFISH usually contains seafood exhibition and symposium.  It is the most influential international aquatic exhibitions in Southeast Asia.

The symposium on the consumption of aquatic products on 30th August is one of the highlight of the exhibition. The deputy Director of Vietnam Fisheries Administration Mr. Tran Dinh Luan,  deputy Director of the import & export Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoa, deputy General Secretary of VASEP Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam and  vice General Manager Ms. Le Hang have attended this symposium.

The president of Nutriera Group Dr. Yang Yong made a presentation called Seafood Consumption Trend in China. This report introduced the current situation and characteristics of aquatic product consumption in China by using a large number of the newest data and cases. At the same time, it analyzed the consumption demands and new trends of Chinese aquatic products in a simple way. The presentation stressed that Chinese aquatic products consumption have presented four main features including secure, nutritional, healthy and convenient, which gained much attention from many aquatic products enterprises at the scene. When talked about the sales channels of the changing characteristics of aquatic products, Dr Yang Yong especially shared the rapid changes and development of the China electronic commerce. The increasing sales data operated by electronic commerce amazed lots of audience. As for the Vietnamese aquatic products which enter into Chinese markets, Dr. Yang Yong also gave some useful suggestions for improving the quality of the products (meat) and adjusting product diversification. E-commerce will be a trial way. The report caused a warm response from the audience. They kept asking questions and Dr. Yang Yong gave professional answers.

After the conference, the organizers presented a souvenir of "Vietfish 2017 contribution award" to Dr. Yang for expressing thanks. They also invited Dr. Yang Yong again to participate in another large-scale seminar in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam in October to have in-depth exchanges.
