2. Problem

Dissection of snakehead fish with red skin

On April 12, 2020, the farmer reported that they were suffering daily mortality of about 30 pieces, and the fish were losing appetite. 

Dynaqua’s technician visited the farm, sampled and checked the fish, the fish’s skin was red, the scale was loose, and the liver was yellow and fragile. Technician deduced since the heat and high feeding rate, the liver was under huge burden and turned into fatty liver, which led to skin, scale and other problems. 

3. Solution

Feed supplement: CareLiver 5 g/kg feed + HerbalLife 5 g/kg, use 2 days a day and continuously 5 days every 15 days. 

Control the feeding rate to 1.0-1.2% during the treatment course.

On April 19, 2020, technician visited the farm again and checked the fish's condition. The fish’s skin recovered to white, the liver turned red and elastic, and the mortality was controlled.
