2. Problem

Dead fish in cage

During the raining season (Jun to Nov) in the Philippines, Taal lake is under the pressure of Typhoon, low DO and algae dead. Stress, yellow liver and mortality have been observed in the milk fish culture, especially with size 60-100 grams. Daily mortality rate can achieve 5%, which result huge lost for growers.

3. Solution

After discussion with customer, we decided to set four groups for trail and follow the fish condition.

Different treatment

Direction for use of CareLiver: use 10 g per kilogram feed, mix with feed after dissolve with water, use 2 times per day.

4. Performance

Mortality of different groups

The prevention group showed lowest mortality, control group was the highest. The mortality between the various groups revealed that the earlier CareLiver was used, the less deaths occurred.

The viscus demonstrated that CareLiver improved liver condition from yellow to red and that the liver condition of the prevention group was much better than that of the control group.

Liver plays an important role in the fish’s physiological function, CareLiver could improve the aqua animal’s liver, which could improve the digestion and health condition at the same time.
